Course Overview
This ITIL® practitioner course focuses on Capacity, Availability and IT Service Continuity Management for IT services. In order to deliver world class IT services it is of key importance to be prepared for what the future brings. You have to ensure that future business requirements and IT opportunities are aligned. Planning ahead and continuously improving are essential.

Objectives

  • How to organize, manage and improve Plan and Improve processes
  • Define and implement procedures related to these processes
  • Learn about in depth concepts of Plan and Improve
  • Learn about the specific tasks and responsibilities of Availability, Capacity and IT Service Continuity Management.

Target Audience
Professionals that participate in managing, organizing or optimizing processes in an IT service organization which are at various stages of implementation, or sustaining ITIL-based Plan & Improve processes.

Duration
This is a 5-day course, including preparation for the optional examination.

Prerequisites

  • Assumes experience with ITIL and pre-reading of relevant chapters from the ITIL Service Delivery Best Practice (Red) book.
  • Evidence of ITIL Foundations certification must be presented at class in order to sit for the IPPI exam.
  • Exam candidates must have undertaken training with an EXIN-accredited training provider and successfully completed the practical assignments of this course.
